On May the 3rd 2024 at approximately 6pm me and my fiancé were in a car crash on the Summit Road.
I was status one and the chopper had to be called in. Although I was unconscious and seizing my partner filled me in later.
I had amazing care during the very short five minute flight and they truly saved my life.
After I felt well enough with my recovery we stopped in and thanked the crew.
It was amazing how supportive the crew were especially Julian. He explained everything that happened in the chopper on the way to Christchurch hospital, he even said he came and saw me when they bought another patient in.
The care the team provided for me was unmatched and very lucky to still be here thanks to there quick thinking and knowledge.
