For the Lions Club of Pakeke, caring for the community is part of their philosophy, their motto: WE SERVE. Lions are “ordinary people from all walks of life who enjoy getting together and doing good things.” Here at Air Rescue, we understand their values, sharing the same ones, serving our community by ensuring we are there when needed in emergencies.
On Thursday 7th June, the Lions Club of Pakeke presented a cheque for $2,000 to Rachael, General Manager at the Rescue Helicopter Trust. It is support like this, from our wonderful and generous community that enables the life-saving work of the Service. “We are always blown away by the generosity of individuals and groups in our community. It’s great to know that people are thinking of this Service. We want New Zealander’s to go out and live their lives to the full but also to know if there is an emergency that they can trust we will be there to help,” says Rick Knight, Crew Chief of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Thank you Lions Club of Pakeke!
