BUSINESS SUPPORT CREW – Update
Our Business Support Crew continues to make a huge impact on the service, for both the crew and the patients. July saw 97 missions alone – including eight missions in just one day. The majority of these missions were accident or medical emergencies. Your business support goes directly towards helping get the urgent medical care and intervention to these patients, in the quickest possible time. Lives are being saved, and this is directly attributable to your support.
We would like to acknowledge our latest Premier Mission Supporter, waste management company Suck It Up Ltd. Their business is helping by covering the funding shortfall of no less than two full rescue missions. Our genuine thanks to Malcolm, Doug, and the team, for their generosity. Malcolm tells me he wanted the business to be able to give something back to the local community, and felt the rescue helicopter was the ideal way to help everyone, especially in a life-threatening situation. It’s great to have them on board for 2021.
Welcome to Heidi Allison, who will be working with the team as part of our ongoing fundraising with the Business Support Crew. Heidi may be giving some of you a call at some point. We appreciate being able to talk directly to our supporters, and as always, we aim to make only one approach per year. This is a great opportunity to update you directly on any key developments with the rescue helicopters, so feel free to ask Heidi, or myself, any questions you may have regarding your support, or the service itself.
Once again, our thanks to all those business supporters across Canterbury and the West Coast for your continued involvement and support. Again, lives are being saved.
