Car enthusiasts from the Buller Rodders and Buller ‘All Ford Day” visited the NZCC Rescue Helicopter base on Sunday 12th August. A donation in the form of a cheque for $2000 was presented by Michelle Rodley to the Rescue Helicopter crew. The donation is part of the proceeds raised from the “Buller All Ford” day held earlier this year.
Stu Drake, Rescue Helicopter Crewman, received the cheque on behalf of the Rescue Helicopter service. In 2017 the Rescue Helicopter crew cared for 88 patients retrieved from locations throughout the Buller district, flying them to hospitals in Greymouth, Christchurch and Nelson. It is great to have the support of the community and to have the opportunity to meet with people who value the work we do.
Thank you Buller Rodders!!
