The Solid Energy Rescue Helicopter is a multipurpose, single-engine AS350 BA Squirrel - ZK-HGH - based at our operations centre in Greymouth, on the West Coast of New Zealand.
The AS350 BA flexibility and technical performance parameters have made it a very sought-after helicopter world-wide, capable of performing a wide range of operations including fire fighting, search and rescue and air ambulance services.

It's versatility and manoeuverability make it ideally suited to the rugged West Coast terrain.

It is operated by Garden City Helicopters and proudly sponsored by one of the West Coast's leading companies and employers - Solid Energy New Zealand.
