While it is the aim of the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust to use this website for the purposes of educating visitors about our work and operations, we are also sensitive to the need for patient confidentiality and we respect that right.

To this end, we undertake wherever possible and practical on this website not to name patients involved in our operations nor to identify them through photographs.

In trying to balance the need to educate site visitors we also recognise that many of our operations involve traumatic situations and have undertaken not to show images on our website that may cause offence to those involved.

WEBSITE OPERATION PRIVACY POLICY

1. Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust  will use any information provided by visitors to this site for the specific purpose of communicating with them. Any information automatically retrieved, such as site browsing patterns etc will only be used in total, without identifying individuals, for site modification and marketing purposes.
2. No information provided by visitors will be passed on to third parties, with the exceptions of points 3-5 below.
3. Where visitors enter a competition or promotion via this website, it may be necessary to forward information on to a third party for organisational purposes. In all cases, visitors will be given the opportunity of declining to receive future communication from Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust  or related suppliers.
