The Air Rescue Support Crew is a fundraising initiative of the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust, to encourage ongoing financial support from small to medium sized businesses throughout Canterbury and the West Coast.

As a local business, what's in it for you?

We invite our members, along with two guests each, to attend regular networking functions, held either at the Westpac Rescue Helicopter hanger at Garden City Helicopters or with other related rescue teams, such as the New Zealand Fire Service, St John and NZ Surf Lifesaving. These are highly informative and enjoyable opportunities to get up close and personal with the aircraft and rescue equipment, enjoy wine and refreshments and hear first-hand from some of the key personnel that operate the services.

We also encourage our Support Crew members to make full use of their sponsorship and promote their support throughout their own marketing campaigns.

At each function a business card draw will Win a City Scenic Flight for 3 people with Garden City Helicopters.

At each function a business card draw will Win a $1000 advertising with The Radio Network (conditions apply).

At each function a business card draw will Win a $1000 advertising with The Christchurch Star (conditions apply).

Your company name will feature on our Support Crew Board permanently fixed around the landing platform of the Wespac Rescue Helicopter.

You will receive a Westpac Rescue Polo Shirt.

After 3 months as a Support Crew member you will receive a specially numbered plaque confirming your support.

After 12 months as a Support Crew member you will receive a FREE City Scenic Flight with Garden City Helicopters for three people.

Invitations to special events throughout the year.

And what's in it for us?

We are asking for an on-going commitment of NZ$100 per month for a minimum of 12 months.
