Air Rescue Trust´s Chopper Appeal Campaign 2017

Priority 1 - Lives are on the Line!

When that Priority 1 emergency call is received, the crew knows there is an "immediate threat to life".

Did you know that over half of the crew's missions are for a multitude of medical emergencies; primarily cardiovascular events such as heart attacks, respiratory difficulties and strokes? In these cases time is everything, as the minutes tick by a life can hang in the balance.

Getting to the patient is a matter of life and death.

This appeal we need to raise $400,000 to save lives - this is our priority 1.

“It is imperative that when the Priority 1 emergency call is received, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responds immediately. Rapid treatment and transport to hospital in these medical emergencies is the difference between life and death.”
